My teddy is my very first one. Ice had him since i ws like 1 or so It is red blue green and yellow. One day my parents said i needed to get rid of it. I cried wen they said tht it ws horrible i still have it to this day and im 16 lol still sleep with it every nite

    I still have this stuffed dog and bear from when I was 3. My friend came over and laughed at me, I tol him to shut the **** up.

    good for you! There seems to be some myth out there that keeping things from early childhood - especially for guys - is 'wrong' or 'childish' or 'sissy' - I disagree completely. Such attachments to things that have meant a lot, or have provided comfort when there was none to be found elsewhere, hold very special places in all of us. I still have a blanket that was on my bed from when I was 4 - given to me by my favorite Grandma. It will always be with me.

    I don't understand why parents tell their kids to get rid of their plushies.
    Do they think they make boys gay or what?
    Those plushies don't bother anyone at all and why taking them away if the kid still likes them?!

    aww you boys are sweet i have like a million stuff animals but im a girl. I still dont take mine outside exept on rare occasions

    I'm 17 and still sleep with mine, except my mom didn't care... I've had my new one for a little bit now... I think a little over a year now.
