Like My Mother

It's something I didn't notice until one of my friends went to lunch with my mother and I and pointed out we both do it. If we're uncertain about a situation, we smile. It's not really a bad thing to do, it just makes people think I'm confident when I'm really not. Or that I'm oblivious. I prefer the confident one though.

that's a very good trait, nice form of defense mechanism, better than frowning...

My sister does the same thing - hence she is more sociable than I am. She's also got a keyring that says, "I smile b/c I have no idea what's going on"! LOL
