Smoker For Life?

I don't know exactly when I started. All I know is it is impossible for me to quit. The cigarette prices just went up again. It really doesn't matter to me though. I'm sure if they went up to $20 a pack, I'd get another job just to support my habit. I quit once when I was 16....but started back up after some trauma in my life, and have been smoking ever since.

I recently asked my doctor about some pills to help me quit. The pills helped a couple friends of mine that were heavy smokers. I don't have insurance though, and the pill are like $100 per script, I think. So, that's out of the question. I have noticed lately, that cigarettes don't really have the same nerve calming for me, like they used to. Actually, I get kind of depressed after smoking, which is weird.

I think I'll be smoking for life. I've seen the most gruesome effects of cigarettes, and the toll it takes on many of my close family members and patients. Nothing  seems to stop me, even my own illness from them. I have strep throat right now, and am lighting one up. I don't know, maybe it's an oral fixation
