Legalize

There are a lot of silly things in the world, and the criminalization of marijuana ranks as one of the silliest.

Marijuana has been respected as a harmless plant with medicinal and spiritual value by countless cultures throughout time. Hindu sadhus smoke it to unite with Shiva, Sufi mystics dervish to its scent; its attributes as a healing herb are well documented by modern scientists.

It's ironic that there are pills for everything today but people remain unhappy. Yet this one drug is considered evil beyond all worth.

Of course, it's bad to be addicted to anything, but that applies to everything. There lot of people addicted to weed, but there are also lots of people addicted to alcohol, abusive relationships, hurting themselves, etc. Treat the addiction, not the target of the addiction.

Maybe if we had a better relationship with this plant we'd have a better relationship with more of the natural world.

AMEN!!! i am tired of feeling like a criminal every time light up. some people have addictive personalities and become addicted to whatever suits their fancy- they need to fix that, not turn me into a criminal because i have continual pain and need relief

Our bodies naturally carry cannabinol in them to promote healthy living. Marajuana (Cannabis) produces Delta 8 and Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) en masse. When our bodies absorb these and other compounds formed by the plant they help us protect ourselves from toxins and diseases such as cancer. Also, any toxins inhaled from the tar created by burning the plant matter are cancelled out by the medicinal compounds.

So, if you didn't understand any of that, what that means is THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEGATIVE EFFECTS FROM CONSUMING OR SMOKING CANNABIS. And on the contrary, it is healthy for you. You could say humans and cannabis were made for each other. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

WE LEAGALIZE IT !!!!

The real reason marijuana is illegal is entirely because cannabis ruderalis (hemp) is such a strong competetor for everything that those industries that were profiting from non-hemp ba<x>sed products pooled their money together to get it outlawed.

AfuckingMen. There is no reasons ciggerettes should be legal and marijuana shouldnt. I personaly have smoked ciggerettes and Marijuana. Marijuana is said to be his "devil" drug, its preceived to be so horrible. it is NOT a ******* equal to alchol or hard core drugs. It opnes no passage, bevause if you get bored of weed , which i find hard to belive, you just stop. you dont move on to mother ******* coke! People can be so closed minded. So there can be a comercial with a ******* camel with sunglasses on bascailly saying ciggs are cool, but god for bid a kid wears a Bob Marley shirt!? Anyone who is so against pot should just light up a ******* blunt and shut the **** up.

i find it riducoulus that pot isnt really that harmful and is illegal but cigeratees are worse than coke and there legall anyone see where im goin with this?

I want to live where it is legal.

Weed is a wonderful experience and those who have not had it should not judge those who have. It should be legalized for the benefit of the tax payer. If legalized we would not be putting people in jail who have not harmed anyone or anything. As far as brain cells being harmed, that is a very weak argument. In America we spend almost half a trillion dollars to place people in jail for drug offenses. I wonder if that money could be better spent than to use it to ruin the lives of innocent people who are just having a good time? Now if a person harms someone while on drugs, then we have laws to take care of that, but to put them in jail at tax payer expense when they are smoking a little weed is self defeating. The war on drugs is a joke that is destroying our nation. I hope we wake up and realize that people have a right to take drugs if they wish as long as they do not harm anyone. Lets quit trying to legislate morality, or what we see morality as being.

amen

AMEN...cough cough cough

Yeah, putting in my two cents here, I know LOTS of people who never did more than flirt with anything stronger than pot, and did not continue doing any of the stuff they flirted with; but still enjoy burning a fattie every once in a while. In the very same way that people like to have a nice, single-malt whiskey. It's recreational for them. They are regular people with families and responsible lives...hell, some of them are the straightest-seeming people imaginable.

So, whatever! to the notion of it being a gateway drug. I believe it is only that to people who have addictive personalities in the first place...those people are going to find a way to act out their addictiveness, whether it be through drugs, cigarettes, soap operas, alcohol, or religion (yes, some people use religion like a drug...that's why it was called the opiate of the masses by Karl Marx.

People who say it opens upon the doors to more serious drugs have no idea what they're talking about. I know heaps of marijuana users who have never/never wanted to try anything else ever.

I've done a few things myself, but I would never touch coke, heroin, meth, stuff like that, I'm not stupid.

Sorry if that was offensive, but it's true.

i guess you havent heard that it kills braincells hey......İt opens the doors for more serious drugs. Ectasy. herion, coke. No harm done hey!!!

what the ****? no it dosen't try doing a little research first.
