Doesn't Everyone

I am a strong, independent, self-confident and intelligent woman and yet sometimes, live everyone, I need reassurance as to who I am, what I am, that I am a good person - sometimes I feel lost, lonely, small, insignificant - Not often but occasionally, and when I do a hug, a kind word, someone to listen, someone to honour my fears and concerns and that's where my friends and family come in.  They make me appreciate what I have, who I am, what I have achieved, what I can achieve and they make me believe in myself again.  I hope I do the same for them, but to everyone who has ever given me that support, I say a great big Thank You!
