Yes, They Are

...And while there are some good apples in this world, most are just rotten, disgusting pigs. I am going to go on a rant here, because I am sick of this happening to me: unwelcome flirtations when it is clear that you don't want to be flirted with!! I had to go to this informal wedding reception, and my bf and I were told that this would be a family only event at an informal restaurant. Well, they lied, and had friends mixed in with my bf's family, and if I had known that they would allow friends at this party I would not have attended. We get seated at this crowded table, and all this while, this redneck pig decides to constantly lean over, invade my personal space, and decide to talk to me about stupid ****, mostly about himself. I pretend that everything is cool, and I don't go with my gut to just use my tazer and zap the guy in a public place, in the presence of my bf's family. These are the only two reasons I did this, otherwise I would have, because I clearly did not want to be bothered while I was eating my fajitas. Not only is this pig doing this, but his fiance' is sitting next to him, and she sees that this bothers me, and she is bothered by him flirting with someone else's girlfriend, but she says nothing for the same reasons I did not zap him. I rant and rave to my bf after this, and I was pissed, because this is not the first time that men have flirted with me when I try to bring about this aura of "don't bother me," but apparently, this does not put them off. Just last Friday in the laundry room, I am trying to read a book while waiting for my laundry to get done, and this fat pig comes in and starts talking to me. I say nothing to him, and yet he persists in trying to flirt with me.

Men: How do you tell a guy you are NOT interested without acting like a *****?? I honestly don't want to be a *****, but when I am polite and patient about it, it doesn't seem to work. When I am a *****, I am seen as a psycho and they back off, so I really don't understand, please enlighten me.
