Trials

We've all been told throughout our lives that what doesn't kill us, only makes us stronger. So okay, I've not had the worst life...quite a good one actually, just a ton of bad luck...from financially to being overlooked for promotion and a few things I won't go into for my own personal reasons.

So, if I'm being built up for something...I wish to God it would happen. I'm failing to see the point of having to struggle, constantly when I have the talent and the drive to be really successful. For instance, every job I've ever had, I've excelled atand in a very short amount of time and I've always topped out (gone as far as I can go) too soon, or the bottom would fall out from under the company right when I was about to get a crucial raise or promotion.

I've spent the last ten years or so, waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under me. It's really hard to remain positive but I keep plugging away, for reasons that are way beyiond me.

It *is* hard to remain positive in the face of adversity, teleman, but we do it because we humans *are* a positive and optimistic bunch, despite the overwhelming evidence that we're all going to hell in a handbasket.
