Not Fluently Anymore

My dad is 100% Mexican, and my mom is like 30%. When I was little we lived in New Mexico, and I saw my relatives all the time; therefore, I was influenced with a lot of Spanish. I didn't know every single word, but I could have complete conversations in Spanish. I loved it. But when I was 5, we moved up north to Michigan. People spoke Spanish, but not as many. My family all of a sudden just stopped speaking it basically. My dad still speaks it, and my mom's a Spanish teacher, but my siblings and I lost it. We only know about 50 words now. I'm trying my best to learn it again, but it's hard. One day I hope that I can speak it fluently again.

I'm sure you will again. You're young. Anything is possible if you really want it. Buena suerte! ( Good luck!) Btw, your story about your parents and the birth of your siblings is wonderful. I love it.
