I Like Being Alone....but
Or reading, I used to know a guy and we would read to each other out loud, it was GREAT! I LOVED it!! But, most people don't want to do that, they think it's boring or stupid or....I don't know. Maybe the problem is I want to do "alone" things because that's what I feel comfortable with, but those things aren't "right" for friendships or relationships???
Anyway, I always end up alone....though I don't always want to be.

Posted Mar 30th, 2008 at 5:45AM Since moving to the UK I've had to get used to spending lots of time alone. I've lived here many years now and although I have aquaintances, I've not been able to make any close friends. I used to think it was me somehow, but whenever I'm abroad, I have no trouble connecting with people. At work my colleagues have invited me out to pubs etc, but I don't drink and I find drunk people awful to be around, and that's all the British seem to do is drink...... I read a lot of books now, and am learning to speak spanish. Mostly I enjoy my own company, but I'm concerned I spend too much time in my 4 walls, and it seems harder to push myself to go out. I don't think it's considered healthy to spend so much time alone.
Posted May 16th, 2009 at 10:52PM I don't know, I guess I like doing certain things alone because I'm used to doing them alone.... For myself, I find I rarely TRY to get someone to do something with me, because I feel stupid asking, figure they will be busy, don't know what to ask them. Then I wonder why it's so rare someone calls and asks me to do something....
Posted Sep 27th, 2009 at 5:22PM Most of my early years growing into a woman I always had a select few of people that I actually associated with. Mainly because I didnt trust most of them. I try to tell my self that leaders are always seperate from the pack and this is why I do not run in packs. Some people are simply just more social, and thats alright..as long as your comfortable with who you are
Posted Oct 10th, 2009 at 9:32PM i used to spend lots of time alone, when i was at home and when i went overseas for uni.. i feel that its more peaceful being alone, without having to handle socializing with ppl ure not even interested in, and all that hassle... but somehow, i graduated and started working, i became more extrovert, still shy, but i make more fds, discover more, see more ppl, and slowly i became a lot happier and more optimistic.. being alone is great, i still like being alone, but when u start meeting more fds, u share stuff with them, u tell urself u just wanna have a good time when them and nth more, u'll find that hanging out with ppl could be really fun. now i dun think abt stuff like whether that ppl would understand me, whether he/she would hurt me etc, i just hang out wiht them for the fun... hope this helps!
