First Experience

Yes, I spend a lot of time by myself, more really than I want to now  (I'm a 74 year ole retired  techincal writer).)   Even as a kid I was somewhat of a loner, but not because of anything  dramatic.  I suppose I had sort of an "Ozzie and Harriet" childhood, but was somewhat bookish, and in high school I got a ham radio license and preferred spending my time pursuing these types of things to running around with my friends.  I made it through high school, college, three years in the Army, two marriages with a divorce in between, which brings me to the present.  In April 2009, my wife of 31 years died, and I haven't been the same since.  Now I'm more alone than ever.

So now, I'm rattling around in a two story, six room house all by myself.  Most of my time is spent on the computer programming, just as a hobby nothing serious (graphics and annimation with Java and Python.)   Plus, I read a lot and watch Netflix movies.  Anything to help pass the time.

Given a choice, I'd much prefer to swap email with anyone who may be so inclined  to share their stories rather than post messages here.   I'd welcome a response.  My email address is :

Thank you,
