More Non-local Friends Than Local

I spend a lot of time on the computer, on my netbook, on my smartphone, than I do interacting with people face to face. I socialize better through the written word than the spoken word, so technology becomes something of a necessity, especially as the price of postage goes up.

I also have a lot more acquaintances and possible-friends (I'm very particular about who I consider a friend) outside my driveable area than inside, which makes for interacting face-to-face all but impossible.
