Owl

i love the night, the ambience of a soft lamp in the lounge room
i light my candles and put on the fire,
happy to be with myself
just me and my dog...bliss!

then i find myself reading that book
writing on ep
watching old movies
dreaming dreams...for far too long into the night!
i tell myself to go to bed
but
living alone, it's not the most inviting thing to do, so i stay awake
till i finally succumb to the beautiful world of night dreams.
