Those sound great; I think I'll look for them today! :) I like The Bronze Bow, all the Molly Moon books, the Series of Unfortunate events, and all the Narnia books. The series I most enjoyed reading (for it's poignantly accurate second-grade humor and the voices I get to do) and that my class would most enjoy hearing was the Horrible Harry series.

I TOTALLY agree, BObert! The whole series is WONDERFUL! :) If I didn't already have freaky kids, I would adopt those bird kids! :D

Humpty, I too read 30 minutes a day. With son's ADHD, sometimes that meant 2 different 15 minute segments. However, our reading spots were weird! For my son, he wanted me to sit on toilet seat and read to him while he took a bath! LOL. Me and daughter actually read James Patterson's Maximum Ride together. Our reading spot was to curl up on my bed. THen my son joined in listening saying it was a great Action book! :)

THanks, Tas! We can never have enough reading groups! We welcome yours, too! ;)

Lala, it's a great program! :) And my son was in the newspaper last year for this too. He recieved a gold metal and a trophy. Each age group had winners and trophies. Plus we have a fun lunch with games, treats, waterballoon fight, and socializing.

Sunshine, you won't be disappointed! Both books are surrounded by humor and cute writings! I hate to ruin the story, but my favorite part of the Worm story is when the boy worm tells his mirror-primping sister that her head looks like her rear! ROFLMBO!

Aw that's cool. We have that too, where the librarian comes into school to tell the kids about it. Last years contestants even ended up in the local paper!
