The Sleep Book - Dr. Suess

My step daughters brought over all their children's books for their baby brother (my son) and this thick book was among them.  At first I thought it tedious cuz is takes FOREVER to read.  Not only are there a lot of words, but the pictures are just full of surprises.

We would spend 30 mins alone looking at the page were the Biggle Balls drop into the machine that counts all the sleepers.

A must read.

Anyone read the Captain Underpants series? Another 'must read' series for little 5+ y/o boys with ADD.... we read them over and over and over and over again... they literally fell apart in our hands.. nothing like good poopie humor... tee hee heee

Dr. Seuss has always been one of my favorites because he is such a favorite of kids (of all ages.) Among so many others, I used to read Richard Scarry's Busytown books to my kids. My son especially loved them.

I work in a nursery so I get lots and lots of opportunities to read books like this. The Dr Seuss books are great fun aren't they? Haven't come across this sleep book yet, I must search it out, I'm sure the little kids would love it.
