Retirement

They were my friends for so many years so I just can't bring myself to throw them away. They listened to me when I had no one else to talk to and they made me feel better when I was scared. If I needed a hug they would be there, arms wide open. They helped me release my creativity by becoming characters in other worlds that I created. After doing all this for me how can I just give them away? I won't even give them to other kids. How do I know they're being treated well and with kindness? I don't think I'll ever get rid of them. I may not play with them anymore but I'm giving them a comfortable retirement. And they do still get the occasional hug.

I think that's great. My daughter kept hers & now she shares them with her 2 yr. old. She's 35. I still miss a big bear I had..he was my buddy! We never forget our best cuddly friends.
