I Still Remember September 11
I Remember that day so clear! It was a lovely day so pretty the sun was shining so bright there was a lite breeze. It was just one those days but it seemed so quite so still! Even for me who lives in TN and was on my way to school that very morning. Once i got to school i had been there for awhile and i started to notice teachers coming in to my class room whispering to my teacher and they had these sad and i don't believe it kinda looks. I knew something was wrong! i just didn't know what. then my teacher made an announcement to the class that something had happen and school was going to be letting out. We tried to ask what happened but the teacher told us that the school wanted to let our parents tell us that they really couldn't say anything. That was when i knew it was something really bad. All they could say was it had to do with twin towers in NYC. I said a silent prayer of Lord help us. They dis missed us like they had always done at the end of school but it was just in the middle all the kids where ask each other like crazy if they knew what happened. the school was so loud as the teachers and the kids finally got outside every one was buzzing around talking i just looked up at the sky. And It just looked and seemed different from its so lovely self that it was earlier. It just seemed more sad now yet so peaceful and still it was like the time had stopped. I looked around at some the kids there faces so confused and scared as there parents picked them up. When my mom pulled up i got in the car and i asked her what happened. And she told me. All i could do was sit there. I ask her a few things but other the that i was silent till we got home. The next day (i believe it was) when i went to school one my friends had told me they knew some one who worked in one the towers and was in it when it went down. It just all seemed so surreal to me.
