Do What You Like - Like What You Do

The work/life duality is fundamental - presumably cave men wished they had more time to paint on walls and didn't have to beat wild beasts with clubs all day.  If you're lucky, the duality shrinks as you age and figure out what you really like to do - what you were put on earth to do - and how to make it pay.  Back when I was driving a cab during the day and writing poetry at night - my existence seemed almost schizophrenic.  Today, there is only the thinnest gauze separating what I do for a living, what I do for sheer pleasure, and what I was put on earth to do.  All three involve using words to communicate with other people.

..and dining.

Not me. Sipping poison all day is not my idea of fun - or safety.

Very few people can say that, congratulations
