Counting The Minutes

I suffer from chronic pain as a result of a compound open tib fib fracture. Five and a half years now and there are nights such as tonight that I just can't deal with the pain. I took some ibuprofen, twenty minutes ago and still no relief. I have the heating pad on it. I have elevated it. Nothing is working. I am fighting the urge to curl up in a ball and cry.
