It's ironic. There was a story on NBC last night about how the percentage of couples who are together, with children and not married is skyrocketing.

The law-makers and religious nut-jobs who are "protecting marriage" are, in fact, destroying it's sanctity. It should be able two people making a commitment to one another and who wish to share their love with the community.

I have gay friends who, due to careers and such, have moved to different states and have to continually get re-married. Frankly, it takes the romance out of it. It's administrative. They've been together longer than my wife and I. How is that not real love?

Dente is right my friend. Do not let government dictate who you are. If you need to be with him, be with him. There are lots of folks who can offer advice on how you can protect one another.

They can stop you from putting a ring on but they can't stop you for loving who you love. Commitment comes from the heart if you have that you have what is most important about marriage anyway!

tired *** law makers dont have anything else to do but impose their own agendas on everyone else. and usually it is not theirs, it what they "think" they should say and do. I wish they could just legalize gay marriage so it would not be an issue anymore and get over it. Besides we could spend the money used to fight it on people in this country who are starving and homeless.

I agree with you completely. I'm not gay or lesbian, but love is love & no one should have a say on who can be together and who can't. Your dream wedding sounds amazing XD I wish you the best of luck in everything. <3

gey marriage is just as legal as strait marriage. it is legal in every state. as of 2003. but how long have u been gey, and dont say u were born gay cuz thats been scientifictly proven not to be true. evryone chooses who they like and what they like in every aspect of lfe.
