his isn't really about John McCain being President. But, I was privileged enough to have met him when he and various other senators came to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. I was deployed there with the U.S. Army and they had a luncheon with several Soldiers.
He sat to my left and Sen. Lindsay Graham (R) S.C. was to my right. McCain said a few words to me while others were engaging in conversation.
He is by far one of the coolest people I have ever met in my entire life. He was just so down to earth and talking to him was just like talking to a regular person. He was amazing!
