Me and my bf are going though basic training. Him in Fort Benning, me in missouri, and all of sudden he wants to get married.  I do to, but how can we?   He wants to come and ask my for my hand from my parents and talk to my father.  After basic for him he will get deployed and my AIT and airborn training.  When can we? and how? Can anyone help me? or some advise?

This sounds exactly like what my boyfriend and I have been going through. He went to Ft. Benning as well, and he just got out of AIT at Ft. Gordon. He's now stationed at Ft. Hood, TX... and i'm stuck here in Maryland. We've been together three years, and he is talking to my parents about proposing next time he's home, in december. There's a few things you can do. If you're trying to get married to live together... you can wait to get married, and live on an off post apartment. If you want to get married, you can always do the court house marriage. Don't feel pressured into it. I cannot wait to marry my boyfriend, but I also have the same thoughts as you. The best thing for you to do is probably wait until he is out of AIT, and then take things from there. Only because he'll be stationed somewhere else after AIT. I hope this somewhat helps... i'm going through the exact same thing. Let me know if i can help more. :)
