War All the Time

As long as human civilization has existed, so has war.  I don't like violence. I don't really know whether or not it was necessary to deploy troops after the 9/11 attack but I don't think that really matters. I think its time that our country decides that our troops come home. Soldiers are dying everyday and that goes for BOTH sides. Who is really benefitting from being in Iraq? Regardless our soldiers cannot be forgotten. We can ***** and complain as much as we want about gas prices, waiting in lines at the airport (or drive thru or dmv or water fountain), and we can shout profanity to old speeches Bush made BUT we have to remember our soldiers.

I've taken them for granted. The horror they experience everyday... I'm ashamed I complain about half the crap I experience... atleast I'm not bleeding in some fox hole trying to find my buddies head.

Thank you troops, thank you soldiers, thank you for my freedom. Thank you for my safety... and thank you for doing what the rest of our country's population is too afraid to do. God bless the men and women who are dying for the over priveledged citizens of the United States of America. Thank you so much.

Thank you for acknowledging our troops. I have lots of military in my family from a young enlisted Marine to a high ranking Army colonel. They are strong and dedicated and deserve our respect for what they are doing.

bravo to you lillean for acknowledging all the brave men and women who serve to protect us <br />
war is terrible but it is part of our world and we must continue to fight for what is right
