For Those Who Don't Know ...

it seems that the MSM reports only bad news when it comes to our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines (and Coast Guard) off in the far corners of the world.

It is perfectly true when it comes to Iraq. After all that doesn't fit into the politicians on Capital Hill with their "the surge didn't work' and 'the war is lost' mantra.

If you are interested there is good news as our military does a yeoman's job for the people in Iraq and other countries.

You should visit:

the Official Site of the Multi-National Force - Iraq at http://www.mnf-iraq.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1

See things like:

Water Flows from Tunis Treatment Facility

Two U.S. Soldiers with the 403rd Civil Affairs Battalion recently conducted a final inspection of the Tunis Tech Water Treatment Facility. Photo by Capt. Stephen Short, Multi-National Division – Center.TUNIS — Water is a building block of life. Unfortunately, clean water is not a luxury afforded in some areas of Iraq. But thanks to some concerned Iraqi citizens and the help of U.S. Soldiers, clean water is now a reality for the people here.

JSS Shulla Transferred to Iraqi Control

BAGHDAD — Iraqi Security Forces and U.S. Soldiers made another necessary step toward total Iraqi control in securing northwest Baghdad, as Joint Security Station Shulla was transferred to Iraqi control, March 2.

Lots of stories and pictures not seen in the press here at home.

Other sites also exist that reflect the real work our soldiers, sailors, airmen. Marines and coast guardsmen are doing. More should check them out.

They are all heroes and deserve our thanks, faith and support.
