Great Freaking Job

I think Obama is doing a great freaking job. I see him combatting our issues head on. With the stimilus plan that will actually affect our checks in a real way, with the health care that will affect us in a real way and even with the home owner  help which makes me feel even more hopeful about one day eventually owning a home. I am happy to see someone finally fighting for us, someone that is not just talk and rhetoric. someone living up to thier promises, someone who cares. I am so sick of some of these bastards on here who are still bashing him and still making him seem like the antichrist when he is working harder than any other president we have had in a hell of a long time. he hasnt even been in office 6 months and he is making major strides. I wish i could just push a mute button and silence all of these racist idiots, its so freaking annoying already. let the man do his job. talk about something else for God's sake.

you are beyond words. and i dont mean that in a good way!

8 years would mean all hell hasn't broken loose between now and then. If he gets reelected, I will lick what ever you want me to. But it has to be on you and it can't be a dude. I'll regret saying this tomorrow.

i cant wait to tell you the same thing in 8 years hun. I want him to stay in as long as possible!

Tell me this same line in 2 years. I'll be waiting... If I'm wrong, I'll lick the bottom of your shoe.

this is ridiculous, tell me all you so intelligent so badly scared Obama haters what really honestly puts him in a class with dictators and the like. he is a leader yes, he makes decisions yes. dont all presidents do that. isnt that thier freaking job description. the biggest arguement you guys have is that he is putting us in debt. we are already in debt you numbskulls. he is cleaning up what we already are in. He didnt start the war or the torture he is cleaning that up. he had a lot on his plate and bit by bit he is making it better. its ok for us to bail out the rich on wallstreet that will be ok regardless but criminal to give tax payers that are struggling just to get to and from work a couple of extra dollars so that they can survive and keep the economy moving. i love that obama is a realist and he knows what people really need. everyone should know and most intellegent people do know that the small man is who really holds a company together who really busts his *** to work and make sure the ship stays afloat. too long this country has forgotten about that small man. too long. now someone is thinking about the little man, making sure he has food and a roof over his head so that he can keep working and slaving and pushing and you suckers are mad. Give me a freaking break. <br />
<br />
As far as you TM2PLA and how much you wished you were wrong thats bullshit too, you and the others that are now so happy and vocal about bullshit were always skeptical and were looking for one thing, just atleast one thing to hang him over. You were waiting like please let him **** up, please so you can finally try to give some validity to your hate for this man. i am so happy that none of you are in congress we would really be doomed!

If you don't consider Chavez a dangerous idiot, then you are extremely naive...

Conservatives are twisting their hands, unsure of whether to call Obama or Chavez the anti-Christ. Which one to choose? Oh, they're both so evil! It's pretty amusing.

You're right, he's not acting like a socialist. He's acting more like Chavez, a dictator...

Socialist? He is trying to save capitalism from itself!

He's not nearly liberal enough and way too compromising in his kid's glove treatment of the previous administration's blatant criminal acts of torture. He's also not allowing single-payer healthcare to be represented in the healthcare debate, despite admitting that single payer would be his preference if he was starting from scratch. Of course he isn't starting from scratch, but that doesn't mean he should completely ignore their contribution to the debate.

I was willing to give him a chance, and he showed that he is a drone with a blatant left wing agenda right out of the gate. I truly wanted to be wrong...

i'm with you goldie. give the man a fair chance.

you know what honestly i have too too much other things going on in my life and in my head right now to argue with the two of you over this. i am happy beyond happy with our president. i am proud and i am thankful for the little changes i have seen so far. i do trust him and i do believe in him which is something i havent been able to say for a long long time about a president or politician period. you two can gripe over Obama until you are blue in the face, i hope you do turn blue in the face so you can shut up already. but i asume you know that already!

I am always amazed that people someone does not agree with Obama that they must be racist. TM2PLA I agree with you. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin. It has to do with his politics...plain and simple. Having owned a small business I know the struggles I had trying to make ends meet. By the way, I did not come from a rich family and worked hard for what I have. I am tired of everyone blaming Bush for the current problems. These problems have been developing for a very long time. Well before Bush but for some reason liberals can never see that. Reality is that Bush was not very good and I am not a fan of his (have made this statement numerous times in various posts). Let's talk about NAFTA and the de-regulation of the banking system (both under Clinton). Let's talk about Fannie Mae and the mandate from Congress to provide higher risk loans. Let's talk about going off the gold standard. Let's talk about the Federal Reserve. Let’s talk about the reckless spending of Congress both currently and years before. Let’s see how long that extra money in your pay check lasts come tax time. But that is a different story. Let’s talk about the waste and fraud in Medicare and Medicaid. Two major programs that our government has not monitored. Deal with those programs and you will have money available to increase health care. Obama is nothing more than a politician. He comes with an agenda and like all politicians has already broken some campaign promises. Careful of what you read and believe. Obama did everything all by himself? Please...look at who was backing him and the money related to it all. Track the money and you just might be surprised.

specifically - the tax break for one, the extra thirty dollars that i see on my check that allows me to get to work and get lunch. that is a huge help. the home owners break that is helping so that my land lord doesnt raise my rent agian. the fact that i work in medical benefits and i see that under the stimulus plan some of my members got a break on thier cobra rates so people that got fired and couldnt afford to pay for their continuation of health care now are able to. i dont speak in bullshit and riddles i am speaking about what i really know and feel *******. you say its not bush's fault and "they would be wrong i am afraid", well you never said whose fault is it. Obama just made 100 days in office so I am sure you cant be blaming the whole ecomony and the war that started years ago on him. you cant be, only a crazy person would do that.

Actually Bush had the same GPA as Kerry or better... What an ******* he is for having affluent parents... I don't get that one... Bush was definitely not one of my favorites simply because he caved on everything and always tried to get along seemingly. How specifically is Obama trying to make sure everyone is really able to have opportunity not just the rich? Can you give specifics or are you just blindly gleefully following the feeling? <br />
<br />
I guess you didn't ever see this in regards to who ****** up?: youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs&feature=<br />
<br />
Everyone blames Bush for the mess we're in, but they would be wrong I'm afraid. <br />
<br />
As far as I'm concerned, a great majority of the folks in our federal government aren't helping the common man... We sit here and throw stones back and forth while the politicians keep taking away our liberties and livelihoods one by one.

FYI Obama worked his way up the ladder. he struggled just like many of us working folk have. he wasnt handed ****. he went up each rung of the ladder on his own accord. Going to public school, going to college, going to law school. serving the community then joining the senate, etc. he wasnt handed **** paternally like bush a d student that so many of you STILL worship even after the ****** up state he put this country in. Obama is the first person to try to give something to us. to try to end the foolishness and hipocracy that is fed to us and the rest of the world about us caring about everyone and being the land of the free and opportunity. he is trying to make sure everyone is really able to have opportunity not just the rich. that man deserves applause for trying to fix the mess that was left, not misplaced blame. he has done more for us in these last few months than bush did in 8 years!

Why don't the dems support choice when it comes to education??? This from a current news story:<br />
<br />
Supporters of a celebrated school voucher program in Washington rallied near the mayor's office Wednesday to save the scholarships from being slashed by Congress -- nearly 40 percent of whose members send their own children to private schools.<br />
<br />
An estimated 1,000 parents, children and community leaders attended the afternoon protest in Washington's Freedom Plaza, where they called on D.C. politicians to help preserve a federal school choice program that currently assists more than 1,700 students with scholarships worth up to $7,500.<br />
<br />
"Several years ago many of us in this good city worked very hard to get a program going with the federal government so that children could go to the schools of their choice. This program has worked," said Kevin Chavous, a former D.C. councilman, but "right now some folks in Congress want to end this program."<br />
<br />
The D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program is slated to end next year because of a provision slipped into Congress' $410 billion omnibus spending bill by Sen. Richard Durbin, D-Ill., whose children attend private school.<br />
<br />
The amendment has angered parents who say the vouchers have raised performance and rescued students from one of the country's worst public school systems.<br />
<br />
"I saw dramatic change. The change is not even comparable to what a parent could do alone," said Ingrid Campbell, a single mother of three who has two daughters in the opportunity program.<br />
<br />
"I'm going to have to get a part-time job" when the funds are cut off, she told FOX News Wednesday morning before the rally. "I'll do anything, anything in my power and my will to keep my two little girls in their schools."<br />
<br />
Rally organizers blasted members of Congress for opposing vouchers but choosing private school for their own families, a choice they say is denied the poorest residents of Washington.<br />
<br />
"Your tax dollars also go to pay the salaries of Congress, 40 percent of whom send their kids to private schools," said Joe Robert, a board member of D.C. Children First, a pro-voucher organization.<br />
<br />
"Right now we have choices around America but we only have it for people who have some money. We don't have it for people who are struggling."<br />
<br />
Thirty-six percent of U.S. representatives and 44 percent of the senators with school-age children have sent their kids to private schools, according to a study by the Heritage Foundation.<br />
<br />
Just 11 percent of American schoolchildren attend private schools, according to the study.<br />
<br />
Click here to see a breakdown of that study.<br />
<br />
The rally, which was held just blocks from the White House, ratcheted up pressure on the Obama administration to address the axing of the program, which would remove two black scholarship students from Sidwell Friends, the private academy that President Obama's daughters attend.<br />
<br />
Some parents wondered how Obama would explain the absence of Sarah and James Parker from Sidwell Friends next year.<br />
<br />
"I wonder how he feels when his daughter says, 'Hey daddy, my best friend is not coming back next year.' How would that feel?" said Campbell, whose young daughter has pledged to work after school to help pay her own tuition at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School. "Maybe he can feel what we parents are feeling right now."<br />
<br />
Parents with children in the program have been enthusiastic supporters of the vouchers, but a government review released in March offered a less sanguine view of the scholarships.<br />
<br />
The program improved reading but not math scores, and while parents were pleased with the increased safety at private schools, students did not report much of a change. The study included both students who used the scholarship and some who were only offered the funds.

The problem is that most people in this country have never owned their own business. If more people knew what it was like, then I'm pretty certain Barack Obama would not have been elected president. The democratic party used to be the party of the "common people". But they have strayed from that and are now the party of the "unions". We cannot ever compete on a global scale if our unions keep acting like they have for many years. People can argue that Mr Obama is not a socialist, but everything he's doing is increasing the strength of the federal government and weakening the private sector. If he would have put out legislation to just stopped taking taxes instead of throwing borrowed money at the situation, I would have supported it. And when are the people who are responsible for the housing crisis going to take responsibility for what they caused? Take a look at this and tell me what you think... youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs&feature=

we finally have an educated president. a community activist. a realist. someone who cares about how we live, how we eat and how we get by. and you people are still talking about spending and bullshit. why because you want the poor to stay poor and the rich to get richer. its sad. very sad. singer you can fool some of the people some of the time but not this chick. i know what your real problem is and i dont even have to say it!

Older than you young lady. I'm "feeling curious" as to why you chose to pick a country in comparison, that was by all rational understanding, during the time fr<x>ame you refer to, run by a tyrannical oppressive ruling class regime that took every advantage of their proletariat class, and locked up all dissenters without so much as a trial. Perhaps you were thinking of the last 8 years?

We will stop..>When he stops.....<br />
<br />
And it is not his race that I have a problem with....It is his politics.....Makes me think that he wants us to be like the USSR....anyone out ther remimber how that was???? Or are ya too young

Great post. Thanks!
