Stem Cell "Miracle"

It was on the Today show, a little boy who had cerebral palsy who was cured of it by stem cells from his umbilical cord. The mother was offered a choice when he was born, whether or not to save the umbilical cord blood and she said, "yes". Later they used the stem cells in it to cure him of his cerebral palsy. They say he should be fully rid of it by the time he's seven. Is this not proof enough that stem cell research is good?

(Moved from another group where it didn't belong, my bad)

Cerebral Palsy is in general the result of birth ischemia or hypoxia, conditions that damage the brain during birth and start a wide range of symptoms. Stem Cell Therapy is the only treatment known to be effective for treating Cerebral Palsy. Visit Placidway.com if you want a helping hand about this stem cell research.

I support stem cell research... as long as it does not take lives... which defeats its main purpose anyway.
