Im Tired of It

Ive been on it for about 2 years now. I guess it has worked in that I have not killed myself. I take 225 mg. When I miss a dose the withdrawl symptoms are terrible. I can barely see, my head feels like it will explode, im dizzy and much more after a day missed.

I have one dose left right now. I really don't feel like going to get another prescription filled. stopping=death for me, im sure

I just don't care though

Hey guys find yourself a good psychiatrist to help you get off of it. I was sick of taking it and SICK of paying for it. my insurance has a ded. so as all of you know im sure i started going into debt to pay for it. I finally went to see a psyciatrist who understood what i was going through and helped me to get off it.
He put me on zoloft and i kept taking the effexor and eventually the doses of effexor got smaller and smaller and the withdrawal was not so bad. The dizzy/brain zapping sensations were minimal but not nearly what it was like to stop taking it cold turkey. The worst part was the nausea and diahareha but its manageable. Ive been off of it for about 2 weeks and i feel fantastic. So guys just hang in there.

When I miss more than 1 dose I get dizzy and vomit uncontrollably.

thanks. uhhhh i tried to get the prescription filled but now im just so sick and ughhh to get it.

i take cymbalta ,if i do not take it for one night, i have nightmares, andi get this weird tingling feeling

I also take effexor and have serious withdrawal side effects. I have gone off it a few times, but don't do well when I do.

Yeah I take Effexor, the withdrawals are pretty wicked. Other than that, I find it pretty side-effect free. It doesn't affect my ******* like Zoloft did.
I have resigned myself that I will probably take it the rest of my life. The biggest annoyances for me are the withdrawals, the cost and the annoyance of keeping stocked. But I think its really helping me stay well and so I think its well worth it.
