I Take In Strays

This is my newest stray Nemo, an adolescent lab mix pup. I wasn't particularly wanting a dog but he adopted me and has been here for about a week now. There's an old recliner on my deck that he's made his throne and his bed. He's a mild mannered and good tempered boy. People bring unwanted pets way out in the country and just dump them here. Strays don't last very long around here, coyote packs hunt down dogs as well as cats, but as long as he stays near the house he'll be safe.
Update: He's been staying inside for several days now. He sleeps on my bed and wakes me to go out in the morning. He's totally housebroken and very well behaved as well as very loving. He's good with my 3 cats and hasn't chewed up a single thing. Why someone would dump such an awesome pet is beyond my understanding. I'm very glad in this one case that some idiot dumped him to my benefit!
