Sunset In Seapoint

Yellow orange
burnt-orange orb
of the heavens.

Orange sky meets
blue-black ocean
at yellow horizon.

The sky is Prussian blue.
Land’s end has a faint glow.
Ghostly silhouette of hull and mast
Glide across your face.

Thousand of kelp wag
their black fingers at you.
Lovers move their gaze to see
your painted story.

Quiet descends.
No words are needed.
The hand of god is visible.

ps I was sure that I posted this. The gremlins were here.

Beautiful pic you have painted :)

yep, I went to look. I have viewed them before and they are stunning in their purples and indigo's.

I like to take pics of the sunsets in my environment and you commented on one of them. Take a look at my sunset albums if you like. ;-)

Beautiful picture. You've managed to describe such wonderful tranquility, especially visible and powerful in the last stanza.
