I Want To Take St Johns Wort And I Neeed Advice

I want to start taking the herb i cant always to remember to take pills so i want to take it in tea form. Does anyone like it? Does it help?  I know you have to keep up with it. How long are you suppose to take it for? Is it ok to take for a person who doesn't have good vision? I would like to hear any of your stories please and thank you. Right now i am taking an herb for stress it's an organic lavender chamomile  tea for stress tension and nervous stomach. It works pretty good but i only take it when needed and i know st john's wort is to be taken often.

I am not taking it. i was but i just couldn't keep up with it. plus there was to many interactions with food and drinks that couldnt go with it. So im just going to have to try and get better on my own terms.

what can't you eat on it?

I took it for a little while about 3 or 4 months ago. It usually takes about 6 weeks or so for it to really get into your system, but once it was, I actually found it not that great, at least for me. If anything, I got even more jittery and anxious, which is actually what also happens when I take presc<x>ription anti-depressants. I eventually stopped taking it and the effects have slowly subsided. Not sure if it's the same for everyone, but those are my two cents.

I get weird and nervous on anti depressants too. Which is why I take nothing now. I want to try st Johns Warts to even out my moods since I'm such a moody person.
