I Just Began Taking Topamax For My Migraines

'll try to be short. Have had migraines for years before having them diagnosed. Took Imitrex injections, then Zomig tablets 5mg. Last 3 months have averaged 12 migraines per month, but insurance will only cover 9 Zomig tabs. Have taken Beta Blockers in past, but they stop working after awhile. I called my Neurologist and asked if he could prescribe something to prevent migraines and he called in Topamax. I'd had a headache for 2 days and took my first 25mg tablet last night. Felt great when I woke up and all day. Time will tell if I experience any bad side-effects and how many migraines I have.
