I Can Sleep! =)Ever since I can remember I haven't been able to fall asleep easily. When I was little, I used to stay up for hours every night just staring at the wall. My parents would always get mad at me for staying up so late. And I would always ask them how to fall asleep but of course they couldn't help. I've been trying to find ways to make sleeping easier for a while now. About a month ago I stumbled upon valerian and my herbalist friend told me I should try it. I've been taking it every night after dinner for about 2 weeks now and the results have been amazing. For the first time in my life I can lay down, and just sleep. It's incredibly liberating to not have to devote an hour every night to trying to fall asleep. I no longer have to worry about whether I'll be able to fall asleep tonight, or stay up all night worrying about the rest of my life. Valerian is also good for anxiety, part of it probably has to do with the whole more sleep=less anxiety factor, but it's also just good for anxiety anyways. In the last few weeks I've found that I'm far more able to cope with situations that usually make me anxious. It's made me so much happier and I haven't experienced any side effects so far. Valerian is a fantastic herb, I'm so happy I found it.
