I like to think of it as thinking out loud

Someone once told me

you talk to yourself

because you do not have a friend to talk to at the moment

so you become your own friend

He was about nine years old

I thought that was pretty clever

    I agree, I read a lot and this is often refereed to as 'thinking out loud.' Your no the only person who thinks out loud btw :)

    Too true. I wish we all could let out our nine year old selves more often. We'd see things more clearly and would probably be nicer.

    OMG! i talk to myself too! Frequently..thank god, now i know i'm not the only one and i'd have to agree with the 9 year old boy and with wilderheart
