For Concentration

I often whisper to myself, especially when I'm doing something I need to concentrate on doing something right. When I'm at work I do it all the time, just to get myself to do the job more efficiently, and faster. It's like running through a checklist of my daily actions.

Wouldn't that be amusing...but I'm a contractor, so I work alone.

You're your own miniature personal assistant and work coach all rolled into one! You should do productivity studies with and without self-talk. Soon the entire workplace could be talking with themselves!
