A Job Well Done Should Be Recognized

Whether it's the kid who mows your lawn, the clerk in a busy store, or the maid in a hotel, everyone who performs their job well should be recognized. A "thank you" is always in order, but also consider seeking out the person's supervisor to make a positive comment, or even send a letter. Did the trash man take the time to put your barrel back in its enclosure rather than just dumping it at the curb? Next week, run out and thank him. Did the handicapped man at the supermarket who collects the carriages in the parking lot stop to pick up a bit of trash? Mention it to the manager.

There is no job too menial to warrant praise.
