Proud ...

I grew up hearing about my Dad having served in Italy in WWII, and learned what it meant to serve this country and what sacrifices are made. I am grateful that there are still men and now, women, who still serve selflessly to protect our country. We are able to sleep at night, many of us never giving a thought to why it is that we don't have bombs dropping on our heads in our sleep. I want it known that I appreciate all they do for us, and to thank them for their generous sacrifices!!

Thank you and may God bless you!!!!!

I get goosebumps when I see military personnel in combat fatigues out and about in public. Sometimes I even gain the composure to go and thank them for serving. Thanks for your story, and happy 4th of July!
