The Proposal

As I look and see her there
I see a heart willing to share
Yet she is so alone
No one to call, no voice on the phone.

In my heart my love is strong
It has been all along
I never could tell her or have the time
To stop and call or spend the dime.

Now I can no longer stand
To see her tears close at hand
So I make it be known
That on this day she will not be alone.

I approach her with a smile
Her eyes wet from crying a while
I sit down and look in her eyes
Which she looks with surprise.

I look into her eyes of blue
That capture my soul with their soft hue
I kiss her deeply with a hunger inside
That makes her smile wide.

" Honey I love you I must attest
I need to get this off my chest
You are in, my heart to stay
From now on starting today"

So with this solemn vow
I let her know here and now
That she is part of my life
With a ring she will be my wife.

This is a fantasy of mine of when I meet whoever she may be.
