Supporting A Loved One Going Through Chemo

Hello :-) there are a LOT of controversial views about bald women. I loved my hair, and was sad to see it go, but the courage and pride it gave my niece to shave her own head were worth it!! See, she has cervical cancer. Her hair was a symbol of her femininity and she loved it well. When chemo started making her lose hair, she was afraid to just shave it all off. So me and my sister showed her that we love her more than we love our hair. We are all bald together now. I only wish I could take away some of the pain she goes through. We as a society need to learn how not to judge people by their looks, but by what kindness, love, loyalty, etc. Is within their hearts. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I love the freedom of being bald and laughingly refer to my head as a chiapet.
