But You Do It With Pleasure

The responsibility is a killer, yet it will pay off when you see your beautiful baby learning something new, or doing something cute.

Parents can't stop talking about it.

And you can't use like everyone else, every child is special and needs special care

Parenting is a very hard task

I think Backjacktaketwo has a different opinion of success.
Paying off is not that you have a child who gets the best grades becomes a lawyer and marries a rich family.
Paying off is you have a healthy happy child, and if a parent does well, it will happen.

Maybe we are talking about different types of rewards? My son, for example, is not doing well in school, but there are plenty things about him that are wonderful and reward me every day I am blessed with having him in my life.
In every child there are positive things that you can grow if you give it the time and attention, hopefully it will spill over into other aspects of their lives, but it doesn't always work that way.

All we can do is channel it...and point them in the right direction. The rewards make up for those times it does'nt pan out.

As with anything else, the greater the difficulty, the greater the reward... Parents that don't put a lot into it should not be surprised when they don't get a lot out of it.

I guess they pretend they never had a kid!! right? LOL

I have no idea, but parents love their children and they sacrifice a lot.
