Being Nice Is My True Calling

Being nice is a sign of strength to me.  It means not giving in to all the negativity surrounding me.  If I can make someone smile I feel wonderful inside!  A simple hello to a stranger lights them up from inside.  Asking, "How are you today", and standing there to listen to their response is common decency to me.  It saddens me when they are surprised that I am actually waiting for their response!  Surprise someone today ... be nice!

I LOVE being nice. Sometimes it becomes difficult when people around are so mean, hateful and evil. And when you're too nice, people may think you're being fake. I am genuinely a "kumbaya" kind of person and it sucks to be misunderstood. However, I will continue to be nice anyway.

Kudos to you! We need more people like you in our world!

Being nice to others is a good thing, and it feel good. But sometime we change, not because we want, it's because what life offers you...

No change in life can stop us from being nice... it is a choice we make. I hope you will always feel nice inside, no matter how much negativity you face.

One of my favorite lines from "M.A.S.H." was when someone said," It's nice to be nice to the nice." It just cracked me up. It is getting rarer these days. But I agree we have to keep it alive by active indulgence. Good post.

Thank you my friend.

I'm shy saying hi and how are you to strangers; but I do open up the doors for them when I go into the mall or coffee shop.

That is so very "nice" of you!

Thanks Windy. <br />
