He regards it as his duty to give child soldiers, and Africans in general, a voice. He wrote a memoir called "War Child", which demands to be read. It's excellent. One of my favorite books. Emmanuel does work with numerous charities and founded his own charity called Gua Africa. Gua means peace in his native language.
