A Different Me, a Different You

EP gives me the chance to play at being a different sort of person.  I am already a pretty open person but on EP I try particularly to be 2 things:  respectful of other people and honest about myself.  I think it's great therapy because it gives me the chance to explore opening myself up in a safer environment than real life.  It feels safer because I know I could always just not come back if I didn't like what happened here, if I felt I revealed so much that it opened me up to hatred or ridicule.

What I've found is that mostly people are too busy dealing with their own stuff to really spend the time mustering up hatred and ridicule for me!  That's kind of nice.  And when people do show a bit of negativity to me, strangely it's not really for the things I felt so frightened about.  So that's a great learning process.

Thank you to the makers of EP.  I know it was a business decision but it still took someone quite inspired to realise the positive potential of anonymous sharing like this.  And thank you to all the people who make an effort to keep this place a positive, safe and exciting place.

Smiles to y'all,

I feel the same way about EP I think of it as an online diary and real people who can give you advice on the things you need the most help on with out having to ask someone you will be embarressed to talk to about it. Also It does help when you type something and read it back over i agree with everything you have said in this blog hope to read more (:
