Exams are there for a reason. It is  a yardstick to measure how we perform at a given time. It is not an overall or general degree of our levels of intelligence but, in the right direction.

Some are not very good at putting their points across in spoken word or even written word. Some are good at both and some may be exceptional at one.

Our experiences of situations have taught us much that we can avoid situations and also think and act. These are part and parcel of everyday life and cannot be generally measured.
