I Think I Am Falling In Love With My Best Guy Friend

It has been ten years since we have known each other, and Im head over heals with my best friend. We talk about everything, we are so open about situations that we deal with in life. I told him that I loved him and he didnt say anything. I dont know what to do. DOes he see me as a friend or something more? because I catch him staring at me at times, or tells me that guy isnt good for you....I dont know IM confused. What should I do? I need some advice.

    He needs time to absorb what you meant when you said I Love you. Did you say it as a friend or did you say it clearly in a romantic way? Just take it one day at a time. He may value your friendship so much that he doesn't want to take the chance of loosing you as a friend.



    Is he involved with anyone else? If you share everything, they you would know if his interest ls in someone else. I would just give him a few days and if he still talks to you as he always did, but doesn't bring up the I love you topic, I would say. "I know I might have shocked you by telling you how I feel and since we are very open in our friendship I would like to know what your feelings are. I don't want to lose the closeness we already have, But I feel the need to know where we stand".



    Be prepared to hear both answers!!! Don't expect one answer or the other, just have some kind of plan ready for how you are going to handle either answer. That way if he doesn't feel the same you may still be able to keep the friendship you already have. Be mentally ready!!!!!
