If you get compliments, I doubt whether you are ugly. Just accept them! For those of us still awaiting our first compliment, with ever decreasing hope, it's a rather different story.

Well i agree with everything you said - i just wish i could feel that way. I know it - i just don't feel that way about myself - i guess i've gotta work on that. I think i'm getting much better though.

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. YOU ARE NOT UGLY! You are beuatiful and thats a fact. Don't disagree with me or I will put a frowny face on the chalk board by your name.

I think the people who truly love you, will love you fully for the way you are and not just for the way you look, whether you are really attractive or not, or whether you perceive yourself as really attractive or not. Obviously there are times when all of us make more of an effort on our appearance than at other times, but the essence of us doesn't change with the clothes, makeup, uniform or anything else we might be wearing. I guess we all have different preferences with the level of effort we like to put into our appearance before we feel comfortable about it, but I think feeling comfortable about oneself is more important than feeling conscious of how one appears to others. Just a few thoughts my friend...
