The Ugly Stick

Yep, my whole family has been hit with the ugly stick, including me. Well, mostly my dad's side. I come from a small town of people who rarely leave unless it's on vacation or to "shop at the outlets" Like I said, it's not a big town, one red light and it only blinks, red one direction, yellow the other.

There is not a lot of options for genetic material variation in this town. And through the years I'm sure there have been some cross breeding of families a a lot closer than "distant relatives". The funny thing is that my uncle used to be into geneology and discovered that sometime back before my greatgrandfather on my dad's side, both sides of my family tree "crossed" if you get my drift. So I think I was doomed from the start.

I'm ugly enough to begin with, but I'm glad that I'm not of a younger generation because the younger the people are on my dad's side, the worse it's getting, not just looks, but genetic diseases to. That side of the family needs some chlorine in the gene pool.

Thanks everybody!

Listen to Levin!

I am 63 years old. The only ugly people I know are those who, through their own actions, make themselvs ugly. YOU ARE NOT UGLY. Beauty can be found in every person. When we get old, we all get wrinkled and our bodies look worn and torn. Yet, inside us there is a beauty that is cherished by those we love. <br />
YOU ARE NOT UGLY. THAT IS AN ORDER FROM AN OLD ARMY SERGEANT. BELIEVE IT.
