It's stupid, they tell me... But they didn't feel it.
It's stupid, to love at young age they tell me... But they didn't feel it.
It's stupid, to cry over a ripped heart that holds nothing of, but, pain... But they didn't feel it.
"Tell me," I began to say aloud,
"Tell me when you feel the high of a thousand cigarettes."
"Tell me," I continued,
"Tell me when you feel the drunk of a hundred beers."
"TELL ME," I began to shout,
"TELL ME WHEN YOU CAN'T BREATHE,"
I stopped for a breath,
"TELL ME WHEN YOU CAN'T FATHOM THE THOUGHT OF ANY PAIN HAPPENING TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL OTHER THAN YOUR SELF."
They didn't speak this time. They stayed quiet, but I wasn't done.
"And, and please tell me when you can't picture a happy moment with out this person. Please tell me when you see something and want to share it with that person. Oh for God tell me when you'd gladly take a jump and take a bullet for that person any day, even if they killed you a thousand times with their own hands."
They tried to speak,
"It's stupid to actually think that tr--"

"No," I said, cutting them off.
"No, it's stupid to think that true love doesn't actually exist."
