I Am Married To A Filipina

I have already shared my story but this is a little different. I lived with racism all of my life. My best friend from seven was a boy named Eric but some of my family member did not like him, because he was Afro American. We were always together. Black girls always excited me but I did not ever meet too many of them. I had a grandfather that kept telling me that I would marry a black girl. I did not let him know that i wished that this was true.,

I posted this picture because this was an obstacle for me. Eden contacted me online and asked me if I would like being her friend. I really did not think we would be together, but thought it was fun having a a beautiful Filipina for a friend. I found that I began to emotionally attached to this person. We shared everything for two years.

In that time I honored her and we did not have any cyber sex or share nude pictures. My sister who was not a biological sister, but a friend I adopted as a sister, grew to love her. After dating online for two to three years; we were married on September 13, 2008.

Racism is stupid and we must arise above the hate. Some of the most brilliant, beautiful, and talented people are people from a different culture than mine!!
