DEAR ABBY,
I am a sailor in the U.S. Navy. My mother and father live in Albany, N.Y. and I have a brother-in-law who is a Bookie. My father has epilepsy and my mother has palsy, so neither one of them can work. Both of them are totally dependent on two of my sisters who are prostitutes in Louisville. My only brother is serving a life sentence in Sing-Sing for rape and murder.
I am in love with a Negro prostitute who solicits business outside our base. She knows all about my family background but she says she still loves me. We intend to get married just as soon as her bigamy case is settled. My being white doesn't bother her at all. When I get out of the Navy I intend to open a house of prostitution in Detroit, MI and use my sisters and wife as help so we can keep all the money in the family.
MY PROBLEM IS THIS:
In view of the fact that I intend to make this girl my wife and bring her into the family, should I tell her about my brother-in-law who is Italian?
