Mind you, having a FRIEND ignore you is a different matter altogether...but why should I care if a stranger or acquaintance pays me attention?  Everybody's got their own stuff going on; lord knows I've inadvertently ignored people enough times!  So someone isn't paying me attention, so what?  Either they do or they don't.  It's their business, not really mine.
