My Opinion

Just figured I'd voice my opinion on mj and all its wonderous benefits. I honestly see no logical reason as to why it's so heavily criminalized in most of the U.S. I've studied the plant and it has more health benefits than risks if any risks at all. It expands the brocnhial tube slightly which can be helpful for those with asthma. It relieves pain and relaxes muscles. There's even evidence that shows cannabis can shrink cancerous tumors. So why U.S. Government? Why make the closest thing we have to a panacea illegal? Now I do know that marijuana has been legalized in states such as Washington and Colorado and that's great! My only only question is what are the other states waiting for? I'm planning to get out of Tennessee as soon as I  can but until then I want to be able to smoke mj in the comfort of my own home without worrying about the DEA busting my door down for minding my own business. I just love marjiuana and I think it's sick that the governmnet is wasting their time and the legal system's time trying bust pot-smokers for doing what they love when what they love hurts no one. Legalize mj and tax it like everything else in America. Am I wrong? Am I right? Thoughts?
